I love living in New England but January, February and March can be rough.  They’re cold, dark and the weather is (very) unpredictable.  This time of year I can’t help but dream of being someplace warm.  Sam and I are going to Mexico in March, but until then, I thought I’d share some of my favorite hats and beach bags (all under $100) for those of you planning a warm getaway!

beach hats under $65

Hat 1 || Hat 2 (as seen in above photo) || Hat 3 || Hat 4 || Hat 5

Hat 1:  Easy to match with any swimsuit or sundress, this panama hat can be worn on the beach or out and about.  A steal for under $30!

Hat 2: I purchased this hat for our upcoming trip to Mexico.  I love how the bow adds a feminine touch – it’s also very well made!

Hat 3: Get the classic, floppy look for less!  Not only is it under $15 but it has a cute, small bow on the side which adds a cute flair. Bonus: The extra wide brim blocks more of the sun!

Hat 4: I love the black trim on this hat.  The straw style has a shorter brim and is an accessory you can wear any warm day.  Also perfect for travel!

Hat 5: This hat is chic and once again, I love how the band is finished with a feminine bow!

 beach bags under $70

Bag 1 || Bag 2 || Bag 3 || Bag 4 || Bag 5

Bag 1: I stumbled across this site and am so glad I found it! The bags remind me of the famous Eugenia Kim hats but as a bag for ~8x less!  The bags are made of 100% locally-grown jute and are light, flexible and durable.  They also come in a few different patterns and colors.

Bag 2: I have a bag very similar to this from anthropologie that I purchased years ago.  It’s very lightweight and perfect for travel as you can fold it up and pack in your suitcase.  This bag also comes in 3 other fun patterns.

Bag 3:  Made of woven jute, this bag is perfect for the “grab and go”, quick trip to the beach.  It doesn’t have any compartments but I love the pattern and leather handles.

Bag 4This bag is the “classic” beach tote with rope handles, a zipper closure, and interior pockets.  I just purchased this one for our upcoming trip to Mexico!

Bag 5: Made of seagrass and recycled cotton, this bag would look great with a white cover-up.  I was immediately drawn to all of the bright, fun colors.
