Is it just me or did Easter arrive very quickly this year?! I’ve always loved Easter as (to me) it is the “official” start of Spring and a day spent with family. The last few years we’ve had an “adult” Easter egg hunt with money and lottery tickets in the eggs. It’s still so much fun to run around the yard with a basket – it never gets old!
Since Easter day was around 80 degrees in Boston this year (!!) I had a last minute change to my outfit. I originally was thinking of wearing nice pants and a cardigan, but 80 degrees called for my new white pleated midi A-line skirt (on sale!). My family tends to be a little more casual when it comes to holidays, so I paired the skirt with a striped, ruffle short sleeve top (similar here & on sale) and the most comfortable wedges. The ruffle details added a feminine touch to what would otherwise be a simple shirt.

To add a little extra “fun” to the outfit, I added these blush cateye sunglasses and these tassel earrings (under $40 – last seen in this post). As I mentioned before, the tassel earrings are a bit heavy, so if you’re sensitive to weight on your ears I would recommend these mini tassel earrings which are much lighter.
How did you spend your Easter? As always, I love to hear from you!
