Sam and I officially moved at the end of July and we are finally settled. Between moving, 8 weddings this year and a full time job (with a 3 hour commute), it’s been hard to post on the blog. Things are finally quieting down a bit and I can’t wait to share a few fun posts with you!
With the temps finally starting to cool down (hello October!) I thought it would be a good time to share a few of my favorite sweaters.
The J.Crew ‘Cambridge Turtleneck Sweater’ always sells out each year (see here – it’s not out yet for 2017). In my opinion, it’s very overpriced. I love the look but refuse to pay $98 for a sweater that pills after one use. I recently received an L.L.Bean catalog in the mail and found this very similar turtleneck for almost $50 less! (Bonus – L.L.Bean is having a sale for Columbus Day. Use code ‘FALL20’ for 20% off your order plus free shipping!) It also comes in 5 different colors. Stock up now before others discover this sweater 😉
I also purchased this long cardigan a few weeks ago in four different colors. I’m impressed with the quality so far for a sweater that’s under $50.
Another company that has really impressed me recently is Old Navy. I purchased this sweater in gray last week and plan on purchasing it again in cranberry, navy and golden opportunity. It’s super soft and perfect to wear with a vest or chunky necklace. It’s also on sale for $16!
Looking for a few other fall pieces from Old Navy? I’ve linked a few of my favorites below.
